AnagramsFrom Wiktionary under the GNU Free Documentation License. Tears are the liquid product of a process of crying to clean and lubricate the eyes. The word lacrimation (from L. Lacrima meaning Tear) (also spelled lachrymation) may also be used in a medical or literary sense to refer to crying. Strong emotions, such as sorrow or elation, may lead to crying. The process of yawning may also result in lacrimation. Although most land mammals have a lacrimation system to keep their eyes moist and in response to other stimuli, humans are the only mammal generally accepted to cry emotional tears. Q. My shih tzu produces a large amount of tears. I have tried wet wash cloths but, they dont seem to help. The tear spots smell awful. I dont want to have to wash his face constantly. I just need some sort of solution to run on the spot under his eyes. Has anyone seen any succses with a particular product? Asked by T - Thu Dec 3 23:03:16 2009 - - 4 Answers - 0 Comments A. Hi Tylan (aka tylosin the antibiotic) is very effective. As pointed out Angels Eyes uses the same ingredient.- it is a shame thought that people that recommend these products dont mention that they are antibiotics. It doesnt get rid of the stains but it does stop future staining. On the down side it is very bitter and many owners do not want to illegally administer an antibiotic to their dogs in the long term. Tear stain preventers are not magic bullets- generally, they will only work as long as you continue to use them. This is part of the reason why natural products are becoming more popular. I use Angels Delight from Bichon Hotel- made in the UK but have Stateside friends who also use Naturvet The biggest positive is that these… [cont.] Answered by imaginarynumber - Sat Dec 5 04:11:17 2009 What is the sweat and tears made up of,the water we drink? Q. If you tear a paper normally, the torn edge is not straight. But, when you fold and press it, it tears with straight edges. Asked by Rakesh - Fri Jun 26 01:19:01 2009 - - 1 Answers - 0 Comments A. By folding a paper in a straight line, you are creating a line weakness on it. The binding between the cellulotic substance present in the paper along the fold weakens. If you tear along the line of weakness, the paper treas with straight edges. Creasing also causes the same effect as that of folding. Imagin the postal stamps are teared. Here minute holes are made on the paper in straight line so that individual stamp may be teared off from a set of stamp sheet. Answered by K.J.
