How do you get the tears flowing once you have tears in your eyes?
Q. Sometimes, I just want to cry. I just want to know how some of you all get tears in your eyes, how you get them to start flowing, and what you do to make them keep on coming.

A. If you can get your eyes watery, the only place for them to drain is the tear ducts next to your nose (so lay on your side) ? I wouldn't recommend you do anything to irritate your eyes though, although this would help you tear more, it could be harmful to your vision. OR just don't cry and be happy! =) (Crying makes your eyes all bloodshot and makes puffy bags under your eyes - not cute)

What is the physical purpose of shedding tears when you cry?
Q. What is actually achieved by crying? I know it is to show other people that you are sad, but when you are happy or angry you do not leak. So why so when you are sad? What I mean is, what is physically achieved by shedding tears?

A. It flushes toxins and hormones, making you feel better "after a good cry." But don't sell short the importance of being able to show people how you feel--in our tribal days, it was an urgent form of communication. Today, we like to think of ourselves as too sophisticated for that to matter, but biologically, we are still a tribal species. You will not get along well in the world if you do not show appropriate feelings.

Can anyone recommend a good product to help prevent natural tears during delivery?
Q. Is there any product or oil which can I use during the delivery to prevent natural tears? I don't want tears or episiotomy. I want to do all my best to prevent them happening. Any good suggestions are welcome.

A. i have read that if you do kegal exercises it minimizes the risk of having a tear, also massaging the perineum helps... if you can go to a local library or buy ''what to expect when your expecting'' there is a section in there with advice on what to do for this. the kegal exercise is used to strengthen the floor muscles of your plevic area... what you do to do this is tighten your bottom like you are trying to stop the flow of urine. you are supposed to work your way up to holding it for 30 seconds i think. as for massaging the perineum, all you do is either yourseld or your significant other or someone you trust massage the skin between your vagina and your bottom... it is supposed to help. hope this helps
